Senior Systems Engineers-SIGINT/COMINT Systems | BAE SYSTEMS Inf&Elec Sys Intg | Baltimore, MD

Electronic Solutions, based in Nashua, New Hampshire, provides systems

analysis, and exploitation systems that optimize use of the

BAE Systems? ES is looking for System Engineers to join our Premier
Information Dominance business area. Engineers will work in small
interactive team environments on complex and challenging ISR operational
problems involving innovative COMINT, Geo-location, and Information
Operations (IO) solutions for air and ground vehicle applications, both
manned and un-manned, having a unique opportunity to work directly with
operational personnel and to see their solutions deployed in a shortened
?QRC? timeline. This individual will be required to provide technical
leadership and guidance to the program?s design team. Responsibilities
support in the development of program plan, development of system
architecture, support writing systems specification, assisting with
integration efforts and providing guidance on system test procedures.
Individual would manage the system engineering function through
effective integration of multiple disciplines and effective interfacing
with appropriate personnel in all related disciplines, evaluating and
conducting appropriate hardware/software tradeoffs to reconcile
inter-disciplinary requirements and resolve conflicts between
engineering disciplines. Individual would conduct technical risk
assessment by identifying and evaluating major system cost drivers and
cost impact of system architecture alternatives. Individual would
monitor the preparation of and would be responsible for the presentation
of systems engineering sections of proposals and associated cost
estimates.
Work experience in the following technical areas:
Extensive knowledge of COMINT system design, integration, and test.
An academic and professional background in the following:
DF techniques/Geo-location and/or RF signal exploitation/DSP algorithm
design.
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited
college or university and a minimum of twelve (12) years work experience
with a broad range of technical, multi-disciplinary responsibilities; or
a Master's Degree and ten (10) years experience; or a Ph.D. with seven
(7) years experience.
Good Analytical and math skills
Active TS/SCI security clearance
